This article is very formally written and factual, something i need to keep in mind when writing my article. The section i have included above i find inspirational because it is formal and describes what happened so well you can feel the pain of the jungle's.

This article again is written in a formal style. The factual information is the key element to this article. I find the section above inspirational because the factual information is key, this is something i would like to do with my article.

I am also going to look at three different articles about marijuana and if it should be legal, this is so i can gather more information about my choosen topic and see how it has been written previously.

I like here how the journalist has added sarcasm to entertain the reader. He has started this article with a light jokey tone, this will attract readers to carry on. In the rest of his article he talks about how making the drug illegal or a higher class makes people want to do it more, like a rebellious act.

This journalist starts off with negative views on the goverment, which is a topic many people will keep reading (and agreeing). In this section here are some good facts for me to use for my article.

Here again i have found some good points to include and i like the way the journalist has kept a serious yet mellow tone throughout the article. 

After reading these articles i wanted to find out a couple more facts before starting my own article.

For my primary research, I decided to do a questionnaire on if it should be legal and if the public agree with america and holland making it legal in certain places. I included the question if the smoke it or not because if they do they maybe bias to it be made legal, the same if the didn't smoke it.

My results show that alot of people see smoking marijuana as socially acceptable. They also show me that the majority believe that if the UK followed in the footsteps of america it would be a good thing. I have to bare in mind that out of the 30 people that filled out my questionnaire 16 of them smoke it, but were it is pretty much evenly spread between smokers and non-smokers it hasn't effected my results to much.

In this session I have created mind map of my target audience, including all their interest and lifestyles, i have also included what they will find entertaining, this is going to help me understand who I am going to be writing for. It also allows me to see what they are interested in, so I can write an article they will find interesting and want to read. I also complete my weekly planner, which is my step by step guide to keep up to date with my work. I have designed it so that i can complete my work a week before the deadline, allowing time for change or if needed extra time for uncompleted tasks. This sessions, my goals have been completed that i set myself which means I'm up to date as planned.

Jimmy Savile

Ten Facts:

• Former Boss of BBC, with the previous reputation of being a generous charitable man. 
• BBC ignored abuse complaints and claims
• Jimmy Savile constant had a young girl in his dressing room, usual around the age of 15/16.
• BBC reaction to the claims was 'That's Jimmy'
• The allegations against Savile are mounting by the day, with the National Association for People Abused in Childhood saying it had been "inundated with calls"
• Many people who he worked with saw and reported the abuse.
• Sexual abuse claims dating back to the 1970's.
• Claims coming from people who he visited on his 'charitable' work visits.
• When visiting a school in surrey he took a girl off and sexually abused her.
• Claims say that he abused in schools, hospitals and the BBC headquarters.

BBC: Guilty or Not?

Jimmy Savile: Eyes of a man the BBC protected.

The BBC, a great world known media production company that have help many charities and people around the world. Except the victims of one of their most famous stars, Jimmy Savile. 

Jimmy Savile a well known media personality and television star, who gained an OBE and KCGS in his past lifetime. A face that represents charitable work and prime time television throughout the 1970's. Now though when the name Jimmy Savile comes up your not going to hear these achievements, your more likely to hear the words 'abuser' and 'paedofile'. This is due to the recent raise in claims against 'Sir' Jimmy Savile for sexual abuse. The amount claims is unbelievable, from the age of the girls to the place these criminal act has taken place. The girls have been around the ages 13-16 years old with the youngest being nine years old, that's a child that is still in junior school and who's parents would still walk her home after school, looking out for her and loving her. 

The sexual abuse claims have taken place in the place young girls should of felt safe and secure, not abused and scared. Schools, hospitals and even the BBC studios, are on the list of place these disgraceful acts have been carried out. One woman has claimed that she was taken from her school where Jimmy Savile was visiting, and sexual abused in the back of his car. Another woman said she saw the present abuse a young girl in a comma. 

These claims have all appeared after the death of the BBC presenter, so he isn't here to tell his version of events, or even if these claims are true, but from the amount of claims bombarding the National Association for People Abused in Childhood I think it's very clear there is no denying he was a serial sex abuser.

Underground Tube Sticker Craze

Ten Fact:

• The same fonts and designs from the London underground official stickers have been used for the guerrilla stickers.
• Stickers saying 'No eye contact. Penalty £200' and 'Peak hours may necessitate you let other people sit on your lap' 
• Been appearing over the last 10years
• Blogger Annie Mole Say's 'when the stickers started appearing, they were "a bit subversive" but more recently "people have been thinking how far can they really go with them'
• Brings humour to your journey
• going to cost the underground a lot of money to repair 
• British Transport Police are not amused
• The official-looking stickers go unnoticed by the majority of travellers
• Stickers by unknown artists

Priority Seat...for the Obese?

The London underground has been under attack by unknown artists. Stickers in the same style and font as the official London underground stickers have been used for these guerrilla stickers. These stickers are twists and gags on the originals such as 'Shepherds Bush' has become 'Shepherds Pie' and 'Priority Seats for the Elderly, Disabled or Pregnant' has become 'Priority Seats for the Overweight, Obese or morbidly Obese'.

Next stop Shepherds Pie?

Whilst on their journey to and from work, London workers are finding humour in these stickers and say they make the journey abit more enjoyable (if that's possible). Although not everyone is seeing them. This stickers are so realistic that they often go unnoticed and most commuters are missing out on the gags.

London blogger Annie Mole say's these stickers have been appearing over the last 10years but have been unnoticed. This sudden rush of stickers is just adding to the hundreds that have been there for years. She quotes in her blog 'when the stickers started appearing, they were "a bit subversive" but more recently people have been thinking how far can they really go with them'. This is very true they have got more observe and witty.

Although to us these stickers are very amusing and bring giggles to us on our journey's they are a version of graffiti. It is going to cost the underground alot of time and money to repair and is going to leave damage on the service. The British Transport Police have refused to comment, only said they are not amused in the slightest.

So whats going to happen in the future are we going to be seeing these on buses and trains next? I hope so, i would appreciate my journeys to work abit more entertaining.
